Honor 6X to Sport Kirin 655 Chip, Dual Rear Cameras

There has been much news about the Honor’s new Smartphone, the honor 6X. This budget Smartphone has been launched in China today and is said to offer metallic finish body with dual rear-facing cameras. After a recent TENAA listing the specs about the phone has been confirmed and the company has began to send out invitations for an announcement event on October 18th.

A Glimpse at The Specification – Honor 6X

The Honor 6X Smartphone comes in three variants- The first one comes with 3GB RAM + 32 GB of internal storage. The second one offers 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage whereas the third variant offers 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage. As per the sources, these handsets will be made available from October 25. You can grab the Honor 6X in gold, silver, and grey colors. The honor 6X measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs about 162 grams.

Coming to the design, the upcoming Huawei mobile boasts a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display. The phone offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor and Mali T830-MP2, the handset comes with an expandable storage up-to a 128 GB via a micro SD card. The Honor 6X also houses a fingerprint scanner at the rear just beneath the cameras. It runs on Android Marshmallow operating system. It also has the Huawei Emotion UI 4.1 (EMUI) user interface on top. The dual-SIM device is fueled by a 3340 mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the superphone sports a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash at the rear and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Connectivity options in the 4G VOLTE mobile include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone is a direct competitor of its own upcoming smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9 which is one of the most eagerly anticipated handsets. It is expected to be unveiled on November 3rd.
