Garmin India recently announced the launch of its latest activity tracker in the Indian market. The Garmin Vivosport Smart Activity Tracker sports features like advanced heart rate monitor and built-in GPS that comes with smart notifications like music controls, auto uploads and automatic software updates.
According to the company, Vivosport Smart Activity Tracker has a reliable battery that can last for up to seven days on a single charge. The smart activity tracker is available in a slate colour and is priced at Rs. 15, 990. The activity tracker will be available on Amazon India and other selected stores across the country.

This activity tracker is perfect for all the fitness enthusiasts as it is water-resistant. This means that swimmers don’t have to worry about removing the watch before getting into the pool. The activity tracker has a touchscreen display for operating and has no buttons anywhere. Additionally, Vivosport is Garmin’s first activity tracker to sport a built-in GPS.
Furthermore, Vivosport smart activity tracker keeps a track of all activities like walking, cardio workouts, strength training and running. It also gives a detailed report on the calories burned, steps walked, distance, speed and all-day stress levels. Vivosport can be connected to a smartphone for users to receive notifications through Bluetooth connectivity. According to a report at Hindustan Times, Vivosport monitors the VO2 max to provide the user with their exact fitness level. VO2 is measured to indicate the oxygen pumped in the blood during a workout. The higher the level of oxygen seen, the better the fitness and endurance are during the working.
Garmin had recently launched Vivoactive 3 fitness smartwatch in India with a 1.2-inch screen and a screen resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. The watch features the Garmin Chroma display with LED backlighting and is priced at Rs. 24,990.
