Asus ZenFone Live Launched with Real-Time Beautification Feature

The Taiwanese smartphone maker, Asus mobiles has released a new smartphone called as the ZenFone Live which is targeted for selfie lovers. The key highlight of the newly launched ZenFone Live is its real-time beautification camera feature. Although the company has released the smartphone, the pricing and the availability details of the ZenFone Live is yet to receive from the company.

The Asus ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) features company’s own BeautyLive app which is capable of providing beautification mode in real-time while streaming live. The company claims that the beautification app is competent to eliminate the blemishes in real time. The Asus ZenFone Live is equipped with MEMS microphones which automatically sense and removes background noise. The BeautyLive app can be incorporated with other streaming apps such as Facebook, YouTube, and others.

Coming to the specifications, the Asus ZenFone Live features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with Bluelight filter feature. The smartphones flaunt a screen-to-body ratio of 75 percent. Under its hood, there is a Qualcomm quad-core processor though the company has not revealed the chipset information.

The Asus ZenFone Live will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS wrapped under ZenUI 3.5. The device is equipped with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB or 32GB internal storage option. It will also have a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 128GB. Furthermore, Asus has bundled 100GB of free storage on Google Drive for two years with the device. It is a dual-SIM mobile with 4G LTE connectivity. However, Asus clarified that only one SIM card can connect 4G LTE service at a time.

On the camera front, the Asus ZenFone Live offers a 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, and autofocus features. Also, it has a 5MP secondary front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The front camera sensor features f/2.2 aperture, soft light, and 1.4-micron pixel size for excellent selfies. It also has camera modes such as low light, selfie mode, night mode, and manual mode (DSLR-like camera detail settings).

The onboard sensor on ZenFone Live includes an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light sensors, and e-compass. The device measures dimensions at 141.2×71.7×7.9mm and weighs 120 grams. The handset will be offered in Rose Pink, Navy Black, and Shimmer Gold colour options. A 2650mAh battery completes the package.
