Airtel V-Fiber Broadband with Free Unlimited Voice Calling Launched

Airtel has introduced its V-Fiber superfast broadband service in India. The broadband service has started in Chennai and it will be soon rolled out in 87 other cities in the country. The V-Fiber service is claimed to offer speeds up to 100 Mbps. Moreover, the company has rolled out the unlimited free voice calling facility to all broadband customers which were earlier applicable on selected broadband plans.

Airtel has begun the V-Fiber broadband service starting with Chennai, and the service will be rolled out in coming weeks in 87 other cities starting with Delhi, NCR, and Bangalore. The company said that it is the first telecom operator in the country to deploy the Vectorization technology. The company has upgraded their equipment to deal with faster fiber speeds.

To avail the V-Fiber broadband service, the existing Airtel broadband users will have to get a new modem. The new modem will support the new Vectorization technology, while the modem will be chargeable to customers.

While the existing customers have to pay for a new modem, the company has clarified that the existing broadband customers will be switched to the fiber speeds and they will be charged as per the same rental plans which they are currently using. If the customer is unsatisfied with the new service, he will get a full refund for the modem charges within the first month.

The new customers requesting for V-Fiber broadband will get 3 months of unlimited trail offer. Both the new and existing users are required to register or pre-book on the company’s dedicated V-Fiber services site.

Airtel has offered free unlimited calling to all Airtel Broadband users which allow users to make unlimited free calls to any network within India. Recently, the company has also introduced the free calling and cloud backup service for Airtel mobile users via the MyAirtel App. The company has announced one-time 50 minutes of free calls via the new version of MyAirtel mobile app. The free calls are applicable on Airtel-to-Airtel network via Airtel Dialer.

The MyAirtel App is available on both Android mobiles and iOS mobiles. Airtel Cloud in MyAirtel App allows users to backup their photos, videos, music, documents, contacts, and more. The Airtel Cloud offers 2GB of free cloud storage and the company will not charge the users for the data consumed for uploading content while using the Airtel Cloud during the night hours.
