Moto X4 Smartphone Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, Features

As expected, the Motorola India has recently launched its Moto X4 smartphone in India. The key highlight feature of the latest Motorola mobile in India is the dual rear camera setup. The Moto X4 is the first smartphone to get launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC in India. To recall, the handset was first launched at IFA 2017.

Moto X4: Price and launch offers

Coming to the price, the Moto X4 smartphone is offered in two variants- 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage model priced at Rs 20,999 and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model priced at Rs 22,999. The phones will be made available in Sterling Blue and Super Black colour options. It will go on sale from November 13 at 11:59 pm onwards exclusively on Flipkart.

Along with the launch, the company has announced the exciting offers entitled to the purchase of Moto X4. Flipkart is offering an additional discount of Rs 2,500 when the user exchanges its old smartphone. The exchange bonus reaches to Rs 3,000 if the user selects Moto smartphone while exchange.

Moto X4: Features

The Moto X4 comes with IP68 certification which ensures resistance to dust and water. There is a dual camera setup on the rear panel of the device. Up front, it has a selfie snapper along with a front flash module.  The handset supports the Amazon Alexa virtual assistant. However, the users will have to install the Moto Alexa app to use this feature. It is a dual-SIM mobile.

Moto X4: Specifications

The latest Motorola smartphone offers a 5.2-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with 424ppi pixel density. Moreover, the display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, there is a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, and external storage of up to 2TB via microSD card slot.

For photography, the Moto X4 has a dual rear camera module consisting a 12MP primary Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor that comes with 1.4-micron pixels and f/2.0 aperture. The secondary sensor on the dual camera setup includes an 8MP Ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 120-degree field of view, and 1.12-micron pixels.

Furthermore, the device has a colour correlated temperature (CCT) dual LED flash. Using this setup, the users can use photography modes like selective focus, bokeh effect, ultra wide-angle shots, and depth detections.

For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor at the front with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. The company claims that such configuration is ideal for getting detailed selfies in low-light conditions. Moreover, the selfie flash enhances the selfies in extreme low light conditions. It also has a beautification mode.

The connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, FM Radio, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensors onboard include a digital compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, as well as an ambient light sensor. The handset measures dimensions at 148.3×73.4×7.99 mm and weighs 163 grams. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.
