Xiaomi Redmi 4 vs Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace vs Moto G5 vs Lenovo K6 Power: Who’s Leading the Battle

Xiaomi has recently unveiled a new smartphone in its Redmi lineup- the Redmi 4. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 offers an amazing set of specifications at a reasonable price point. The device will be available only via flash sale module on Flipkart from May 23. The Redmi 4 will compete with other budget mobiles likes of the Lenovo K6 Power, Moto G5, and the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace. Let’s compare these budget smartphone and see who is on the front foot among them.

Price

Looking at the prices of these four smartphones, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 seems to be at a favourable spot as its price starts from Rs 6,999. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace and Lenovo K6 Power follow the Redmi 4 with prices of Rs 8,490 and 10,999 respectively. On the other hand, the Moto G5 is available at Rs 11,999.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been offered in three variants- 2GB RAM + 16GB storage for a price of Rs 6,999, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage at price of Rs 8,999, and the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model priced at Rs 10,999.

Specifications

The Xiaomi Redmi 4, Moto G5, and Lenovo K6 Power competes for each other with similar sets of specifications, whereas the Samsung J2 Ace falls behind. The Redmi 4 is at upper hand with a 4100mAh battery, and Lenovo K6 Power comes after with a 4000mAh battery. All four smartphones offer a 5-inch display. While Redmi 4 has an HD display, the Lenovo and Moto smartphone has a full-HD resolution.

The Moto G5 is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and an 8GB of onboard storage. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz and has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Lastly, the Lenovo K6 Power comes equipped with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Design

The Xiaomi, Lenovo and Motorola phone has a fingerprint scanner, whereas the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace lacks that feature. Motorola has the fingerprint sensor embedded on the Home button while the other two devices have it on the rear panel. All phones have a metal frame on its body.

Conclusion

All four smartphones are packed with some amazing specification and features. Except for Samsung, the other smartphones are offering powerful processors, memory, camera, and other specifications. Although, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace is the weak link among these smartphones, but has a good reputation in the Indian market. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is a better option while considering the low price advantage. However, as the phone is coming in flash sale module, the availability of the device will scarce for sure.
