Dell India has just announced a new premium laptop in the Indian market called the Dell XPS 13 (9370). The XPS 13 was launched last month at the CES 2018 event and the company has now brought this laptop to India. It is claimed to be the world’s smallest 13-inch laptop. The key highlight features of the laptop include the latest 8-th Gen Intel Core processors and 4K Ultra HD InfinityEdge display.
Dell XPS 13: Price
The pricing for the latest Dell laptop starts at Rs 94,790 in India for the Core i5 variant. It will have a Full HD display. Going further, the Core i7 variant costs Rs 1,41,490 of the Full HD display option, whereas the Ultra HD display variant with Core i7 costs Rs 1,59,790. The laptops will be available for purchase starting February 20. It will be offered in Rose Gold, and Alpine White colour options. Moreover, a Platinum Silver limited edition variant will be available as well.
To recall, the company had launched the predecessor of the XPS 13 edition back in December 2017. It was the first bezel-less display laptop that was launched in India.
Dell XPS 13: Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the new Dell XPS 13 laptop features a 13-inch display with the option to choose from full HD and Ultra HD resolution. The base variant with Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display packs an 8-th Generation Core i5-8250 quad-core processor paired with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD. Next, the 8t-th Generation Core i7-8550 processor variant also sports a 13-inch Full HD display. The laptop will have 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD.
Lastly, the top variant will boast a 13-inch Ultra HD (2160×3840 pixels) display with 8-th Generation Core i7-8550 quad-core processor coupled with 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM an 512GB PCIe SSD. It will also have support for HDR. All the three variants will runs on Windows 10 Home OS. All variants will have Office Home and Student 2016 pre-installed on it.
For connectivity, there will be a microSD slot, USB Type-C port, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and DC-In and DisplayPort. There is a 52Whr battery provided on the device. The laptop comes with password-free login feature thanks to the IR camera and Windows Hello.
