The smartphone sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. This display is much bigger and brighter than the one seen on Redmi Note 5 Pro. The rear camera sport a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with AI portrait 2.0 and Dual Pixel autofocus. On the other hand, the front camera feature's a combination of a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the front camera will also support AI functionalities and the face unlock feature. On the battery end, the smartphone is getting the same 4000mAh battery seen on the previous smartphone by Xiaomi. However, the smartphone comes with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. The battery life on the smartphone has been improved to easily last for a day after a full charge. The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a P2i coating. This coating is known for its amazing liquid repellent technology. Apart from these features, the smartphone is available in two storage variants to choose from. The first variant features 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage and the second variant 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro and has a few upgrades over the model it replaces. The notched display on the Redmi Note 6 Pro is bigger and brighter, and the cameras have also been upgraded, which does result in better output. Xiaomi has improved slightly on a product that was already good, and the refresh was necessary because competition has now caught up with Xiaomi, in the form of the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1.

Our review unit has 4 gigs of RAM and 64GB storage.The processor in charge of the Snapdragon 636 is an octa-core Kryo 260 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, while there is an Adreno 509 to handle graphics.

Overall, The Redmi Note 6 Pro has it all - great display, snappy performance, no-nonsense features, excellent battery life, and very good and hassle-free camera experience. And all this is available at an amazingly low price.
