LG is known as the leading brand in the home entertainment segment, all thanks to its highly-equipped televisions. This year, the brand is going to new heights with its new range of LG 2019 ThinQ AI 8K OLED TVs. Likewise, this new range of televisions will make their debut at the CES 2019 which will commence on January 8, in Las Vegas.

The highlighted feature of this TV is that it will be powered by LG’s second-gen α (Alpha) 9 Gen 2 intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm. Additionally, the TV will also come with support for both Alexa and Google Assistant. The new range of LG 2019 ThinQ AI 8K OLED TVs include:

  • LG E9

All of these Smart televisions will offer an amazing sound experience and enhanced AI picture quality. With the inclusion of Alexa and Google Assistant, users will be able to give commands to control other smart home devices from the TV. The TV remote will come with a dedicated Amazon Prime Video button. This button will allow users to switch channels, control other smart home devices and ask Alexa questions.

Out of all the new models, the LG Z9 88-inch OLED TV will be the most expensive of the lot. Along with an 88-inch display, this TV will come with an 8K resolution, upscaling technology, enhanced noise reduction and high-resolution picture quality.

Furthermore, the second-gen Alpha 9 Gen 2 intelligent processor used in these TVs will automatically tweak the tone mapping curve depending on the TVs ambient light sensor to offer optimized screen brightness that is comfortable to the human eye. Moreover, these TVs will offer high-quality HDR all thanks to the Dolby Vision support.

Also, with Dolby Atmos support, these televisions can deliver 5.1 surround sound. Also, all these TVs will support HDMI 2.1 ports for high frame rates at 120 fps. LG will launch these upcoming ThinQ AI 8K OLED TVs in over 140 countries across the globe. Also, this means we can expect these televisions to make their way to the LG TV price list in India.

Lastly, LG has also revealed that the Alpha 9 processor will also power its new range of LCD TVs. The LG LCD TV range will be designed with the NanoCell technology to offer accurate colours for every viewing angle.
