The new smartphone reflects the design from previous Redmi phones.The hybrid SIM slot is on the left. The charging port is on the bottom, and there are a 3.5mm audio jack and infrared emitter on the top. There is no fingerprint reader on the Redmi 4A, which isn't a surprise considering its price tag.There was no slack when multitasking, and it quickly handled switching between multiple apps. It has a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, a 5-lens system, a f/2.2 aperture, and is backed by a LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 aperture on board as well. The Redmi 4A's inbuilt storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The Redmi 4A has a hybrid dual-SIM card slot and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Camera performance is decent, and the polycarbonate body, 3030mAh battery, and software are all satisfactory. Sensors of the smartphone include the accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity.The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU.At Rs. 6,999, the Redmi 4A offers a lot of features, especially VoLTE support.
