Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone in its home country called as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The highlight of the device is its 5.99-inch bezel-less display which sports an aspect ratio of 18:9. Besides, the design of the phone features a 12-percent smaller bezel at the bottom than the predecessor.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: Price
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is presently launched in the Chinese market and it is expected to made available in the international markets later on. It comes in three variants-
- 6GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 32,500)
- 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage for a price of CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs 35,300)
- 6GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 39,400)
Also, a Special Edition full ceramic body model of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is there with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at a price of CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs 46,000).
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 features a 5.99-inch Full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with 403ppi pixel density. The display boasts an 18:9 aspect ratio and comes with DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which is clocked up to 2.45GHz. The memory configuration of the device depends on which model you are picking out of the three variants.
For photography, there is a 12MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 5P lens, 4-axis optical image stabilisation, 1.25-microns pixels, and has facial recognition feature. Up front, there is a 5MP selfie snapper which doubles as a webcam for video calling. The front camera also comes with facial recognition function.
As mentioned before, the phone will come in three different variants. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth. The sensor on board includes an accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and an ultrasonic proximity sensor. The latest Xiaomi mobile packs a 3400mAh battery.

Recently, the promo campaign images of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 was shared by Lei Jun, CEO and Chairman at Xiaomi. So, we already knew that the phone will offer bezel-less display and a unique design.The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 features a 5.99-inch display which is 11.9 percent smaller than the 6.4-inch display of the Xiaomi Mi Mix. The new Xiaomi mobile is 2.5 percent thinner and 11.5 percent lighter than the last year’s model.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes with Adaptable AI Beautify feature, which is claimed to be intelligent to identify men and women using different algorithms to beautify selfies. The Special Edition model of the Mi Mix 2 is made out of a complete ceramic body and it will be offered in White and Black colour options. The device has a hidden sound-guided speaker and an ultrasonic proximity sensor.
