Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The recall of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 spread the rumours that the company might kill the Galaxy Note brand but the company’s chief DJ Koh has confirmed the launch of a better and a safer Galaxy Note 8. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.3-inch QHD AMOLED display.

The smartphone will be equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by using a microSD card. It is said to operate on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and a smaller 3,200mAh battery. Galaxy Note 7R will feature a 5.7-inch QHD Sper AMOLED dual-edge curved display. It is believed to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8890 64-bit Octa-core processor. The smartphone would flaunt 12MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera.

LG V30 is said to succeed V20 smartphone and will reportedly ditch the secondary display, for which the phone was known. The LG V30 smartphone might be the first smartphone from LG to have OLED display. The design is said to be premium with near to no bezel screen, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and more than a dual-rear camera setup. This smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 and to run on Android O out-of-the-box. Not much is known about this phone but it is expected to be out before the end of this year. And not only that, LG has already announced that its next flagship LG Phone would be Daydream-ready.

Apple iPhone 8 (iPhone X)

Apple launched the first iPhone 10 years back and this year the company is launching a special anniversary edition of the iPhone. It isn’t confirmed as to what it will be called- iPhone 8 or iPhone X. As per the rumours, the phone will be slightly taller and broader.

Also instead of Touch ID, it is planning to use facial recognition to unlock the device. On the rear panel, there will be a vertically aligned dual camera setup. According to the price analyst, the iPhone 8 will retail over approx Rs.65000 for 128GB variant. Furthermore, Apple is expected to unveil this smartphone at an event in September.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2

Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi MIX 2 in three variants- 128GB with 4GB RAM, 128GB with 6GB RAM, and a high-end 256GB with 8GB RAM. The phone is expected to be as 93 percent screen to body ratio. It shall have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display.

The camera setup will be of 19MP at the back and 13MP at the front for selfie lovers. Moreover, the phone might also come up with a fingerprint sensor embedded below the display.

OnePlus 5

OnePlus has been giving a tough fight to Apple, Google, Samsung in launching its flagship device. That probably makes it the most anticipated phones of the year. The phone is set to launch on June 20 and June 22 in India.

Additionally, OnePlus 5 is expected to have a simple design probably a unibody metal design. The company has confirmed that OnePlus 5 will feature a dual camera setup at the back.
