Samsung’s Exynos 8895 to Reach at 3.0GHz, Boost Image Processing by 70%

Samsung is reportedly working on the upcoming Exynos 8895 SoC that is rumored to feature some astonishing specifications. Recently, a leaked report from China has claimed that the upcoming Exynos 8895 SoC will be built on the 10nm architecture and the CPUs of it will be clocked at the speed of 3GHz. Moreover, the new processor is supposed to boost the image processing by a whopping 70%.

Earlier, the new Exynos 8895 was spotted on an Indian import-export website, Zauba featuring the 10nm process. The current range of Samsung flagship devices including Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7/Edge is built on Exynos 8890 architecture. While some versions of the smartphones run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC .

According to the rumors, the upcoming Galaxy S8 is about to run on new Exynos 8895 SoC exclusively. In addition, Samsung is supposed to ditch the integration of Qualcomm processor in their high-end droids in favor to their own stuff.

The upcoming Exynos 8895 is believed to be the first chip manufactured by Samsung on the 10nm process which features the highest power optimization of just 5 watts. The chip has listed on Geekbench with an alleged score of 2301 for single-core and 7019 for multi-core.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to enhance the image processing power by 70% thanks to the new rumored chip that will make use of the most of its camera hardware.

If the rumors are to be true, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy flagship phones will sport really great chip. Although the reports are been generated from the reliable source, it sounds more like wild guesswork.

On the other hand, Qualcomm has released its flagship Snapdragon 821 processor in July this year. The processor was first used in Asus Zenfone 3 smartphone. The quad-core Snapdragon 821 is claimed to deliver 10 percent power boost over the Snapdragon 820, and it can accelerate up to 2.4GHz.

The upcoming Google Pixel and Pixel XL are expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 821 processor.
