When it comes to Samsung mobiles flagships, we can’t expect things to be short on power. This time, rumors are signifying something quite special on the Galaxy S8 upcoming mobiles by Samsung. According to SamMobile’s report, the Samsung Galaxy S8 might get equipped with Exynos 8895 processor alongside an ARM Malie-G71 GPU.

The report has claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature ARM’s new Mali-G71 GPU which is 1.8 times powerful than the Mali-T880 MP12 GPU used with the Exynos 8890 processor on Galaxy S7.  Furthermore, the alleged GPU is said to be faster than the GPU used with a Snapdragon 830 processor, according to GFXBench results.

The Mali-G71 GPU is the brand Bifrost architecture of ARM which is claimed to deliver premium 4K and VR experience. When compared to the Mali-T880MP12 GPU, the new Mali-G71 uses a 16nm process and runs at the 850MHz frequency that provides 27.2Gpix/s which is double at the same frequency of Mail-T880MP12 GPU.

The new Mali-G71 GPU is compatible with Android RenderScript, Vulkan API, OpenGL ES 3.2 and GPU Compute.

The processor integrated with an Exynos 8895 chipset will allow the highest clock speed at 3GHz and it will be using the 10nm process. The G71 GPU can scale from 1 to 32 cores easily which will reduce the power drainage. Hence, the upcoming Galaxy S8 device will expand the battery life but the device will never lag as it will be backed with a 6GB of RAM.

Rumors are stating that the Galaxy S8 will have a 5.2-inch display while the camera of the device will witness some extreme up gradation. The primary rear camera of Galaxy S8 is expected to sport a 30MP sensor with popular camera features like auto laser focus, optical image stabilization, facial recognition, and more. The secondary camera will feature a 9MP selfie shooter. The battery capacity of the upcoming mobile is expected to be increased up to 4200mAh.

Samsung is expected to launch its upcoming mobile Galaxy S8 at a dedicated event anytime in the first quarter of 2017.
