Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max launched in India

Samsung has unveiled its Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro smartphones in India with price tags of Rs 17,900 and Rs 20,900 respectively. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max will be made available in Black and Gold colour options across retail stores from June 20, whereas the Galaxy J7 Pro will also be offered in Black and Gold colour options from mid-July onwards.

Galaxy J7 Pro: Specifications

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a metal body. The device is equipped with a 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor paired with Mali T830 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The device supports microSD cards up to 256GB for storage expansion.

For photography, there will be a 13MP primary rear camera on Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro alongside a 13MP front snapper. The device will be powered by a 3600mAh battery and it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The handset measures dimensions at 152.4×74.7×7.9mm. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the physical home button.

Galaxy J7 Max: Specifications

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max features a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The handset boasts a 1.6GHz MediaTek MT6757V octa-core processor under its hood coupled with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and external storage option via microSD card.

On the camera front, the smartphone offers 13MP sensors with LED flash on both front and rear panel. It will run on Android Nougat OS and will be powered by a 3300mAh battery. It is a dual-SIM mobile with 4G VoLTE support. Both the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max sports a metal unibody design and has almost no bezels on the left and right edges.

Lastly, Samsung has launched its Samsung Pay Mini payment solution in India. The Pay Mini feature will be available on the Android mobiles having an HD display and running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and above. It’s worth mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro comes pre-loaded with Samsung Pay feature. On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 Max is the first smartphone to come with Samsung Pay Mini payment.
