Reliance Jio SIM to Get Delivered At Your Doorstep

Reliance Jio has retained its buzz for both good and bad reasons for over two months now. The Reliance Jio welcome offer is offering exciting and free services to its users until December 31, 2016. On contrary to this, people are still facing challenges for getting a SIM. While so, many users who’ve managed to get a SIM, are still facing issues with the activation of their SIM cards. However, a report by Telecom Talk is claiming that Reliance Jio has a made its way out of it.

As per the report, Reliance Jio might start the home delivery of the Jio SIM cards very soon. The report has cited the Reliance’s internal sources to put concreteness in it. It says that the company is gearing up to commence a doorstep delivery of its SIM.

For registration of the SIM cards, the company may open a web portal where interested customers will have to submit their interest by filling in the basic applicant’s information such as full name, contact details, address, identity proof, address proof and others if any.

Once the details are received to Reliance Jio, the company would issue a 4G SIM card to the applicant and deliver it to his mentioned address within a period of seven days. Furthermore, the report also mentioned that the company has tested the service previously with limited users and it will be soon made available in metro cities.

The Reliance Jio 4G SIM card is bundled with the ‘Jio welcome offer’ which allow users to access free unlimited data and other Jio services till December 31, 2016. The demand for Jio SIM has also surged due to the commitment of free voice calls and zero roaming charges within India on 4G VoLTE mobiles for a lifetime by the company.

The SIM card and services are available only on 4G VoLTE mobiles, so in case you are using a 3G enabled device you’ll have to purchase a new 4G VoLTE mobile for using Jio services. You can check our list of LYF mobiles also.

Presently, if anyone wishes to get a Jio SIM card, he has to wait in a long queue and a long waiting time before getting the Jio SIM card. Providing doorstep delivery of SIM cards to users will solve the problems with the SIM availability and activation to some extent.
