Oppo R9s Plus Appeared on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 653

Oppo mobile is about to reveal its R9s smartphone which is headed for its launch event on October 19. But now, hints about the new R9s Plus Smartphone alongside the flagship R9s are coming. The alleged Oppo R9s Plus smartphone is discovered by a Weibo user who spotted it on an AnTuTu listing, which had revealed some key specifications of the upcoming mobile. The R9s Plus smartphone is expected to come with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 653 chipset.

The Oppo R9s smartphone was previously benchmarked on AnTuTu with a Snapdragon 625 chipset. And the newly added R9s Plus smartphone appears to be the first smartphone device to come with a brand new SoC under its hood.

As per the AnTuTu listing, the upcoming mobile named as the Oppo R9s Plus will feature a 6-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone is expected to come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor clubbed with Adreno 510 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB internal storage. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The stunning feature of the upcoming Oppo R9s Plus smartphone lies in its camera set-up. The Smartphone will feature the same camera specifications as the R9s smartphone. The upcoming mobile will offer 16MP camera sensors both at the front and back panel of the device. The camera on the device will comprise Sony’s IMX378 sensor. However, the listing has not mentioned the battery details.

Earlier, another Oppo smartphone R9s appeared on AnTuTu with 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The device is expected to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage. For photography, the Oppo R9s offers a 16MP camera sensor at the rear as well as the front of the device. The camera will come with popular camera features such as PDAF, touch focus, HDR, panorama, face detection, geo-tagging, and LED flash.

The upcoming mobile R9s is expected to pack with a 3010mAh battery with Oppo’s own Super VOOC fast charging technology which can charge the device’s battery from 5 to 100 percent in just 15 minutes using the 5V fast charger.
