After a long wait of almost two years, Nokia is finally all set to launch its android smartphones under its Nokia-brand name. The latest Nokia devices were recently spotted on Geekbench.

According to the report, the company is currently working on Nokia 5320 and Nokia RM-1490.

The latest leaks are conflicting with the earlier reports that were claiming Nokia’s plans on flagship devices.

The rumored Nokia 5320 is expected to feature superior specifications than the Nokia RM-1490 smartphone. The leaks are indicating a 2.27GHz quad-core processor on Nokia 5320 with 2GB of RAM on board. The device will run on an older version of Android; that is Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.

On the other hand, the Nokia RM-1490 is likely to feature a 500MHz single-core AMD A8-5545M processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on even older Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The previous reports were stating that the upcoming Nokia smartphones will feature high-end specifications but the report published by Geekbench is contradicting all previous leaks. The previous leaks were highlighting OLED displays in upcoming Nokia devices with Quad HD resolution.

The reports also claimed that the devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC and the device will run on latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Z-Launcher UI on the top of it.

However, Geekbench has not revealed more specifications and features of upcoming phones yet. The leaks surfaced about Nokia phones are conflicting with each other. So it is uncertain to say what kind of smartphones Nokia is going to release in the market. Check out our list of Nokia Mobiles in India.

Nokia has already confirmed its plan to roll out smartphones and tablets in Q4 of 2016. The company has an agreement with HMD Global for the period of next 10 years. Nokia will manufacture its own branded smartphones, tablets, and other devices with its newly formed Finish Manufacturer. But still, the release dates of upcoming mobiles from Nokia are not declared.
