Lenovo revealed its 2018 variants of the ThinkPad laptops ahead of CES 2018 which will take place in Las Vegas. The new Lenovo ThinkPad laptop series includes ThinkPad X, ThinkPad L and ThinkPad T. These laptops will come with features like the 8th generation Intel Core processors and USB- Type-C power adapters.
For the ThinkPad X series, Lenovo has unveiled the X280 and X380 Yoga laptops. Under the ThinkPad T series, Lenovo has announced the T480s, T480 and T580 laptops. And finally, under the ThinkPad L series, there are four laptops namely L380, L380 Yoga, L480 and L580.
These latest Lenovo laptops come with thinner and lighter form factors. The laptops also sport facial recognition support for Windows Hello, webcam covers, side docking and USB Type-C power adapters. These features make the laptops more business-oriented.
Lenovo ThinkPad X Series
The ThinkPad X series laptops come with the fast charging feature that can charge the battery up to 80 percent in 60 minutes. ThinkPad X380 Yoga laptop will come with an IR camera for Windows Hello support and an Active Pen. The price of ThinkPad X380 Yoga starts at $1,459 (approximately Rs. 92,500). And on the other hand, the price for ThinkPad X280 starts from $999 (approximately Rs. 63,400).
Lenovo ThinkPad T Series
For the ThinkPad T series laptop, Lenovo has introduced features like IR camera, fingerprint reader and ThinkShutter camera. The ThinkPad T480s laptop is believed to be one of the lightest business laptops in the series. All the three laptops in the series come with a battery life of up to 27 hours. The price of ThinkPad T480 starts at $989 (approximately Rs. 62,700) and the price of ThinkPad T480s starts at $1,269 (approximately Rs. 80,500). Additionally the ThinkPad T580 price starts from $1,079 (approximately 68,400).
Lenovo ThinkPad L Series
The ThinkPad L series laptops come with features like complete docking solutions, 8th generation Intel Core processor and multi-touch displays. Apart from the 14-inch and 15-inch variants, these laptops will also be available in a new 13-inch size. The price for ThinkPad L380 Yoga will start at $549 (approximately Rs. 34,800), the price range of ThinkPad L380 will start at $449 (approximately Rs. 28,500). The price for ThinkPad L 480 will start at $779 (approximately Rs. 49,400). And finally, the price of ThinkPad L580 will start at $769 (approximately Rs. 48,700).
