Moto E3 Is All Set To Enter Indian Market on September 19

Motorola is about to release its latest budget smartphone Moto E3 in India on September 19. The upcoming device is a successor to the Moto E2 smartphone that was launched in February last year. The company has unveiled its latest device, Moto E3 in the UK back in July at a price of € 99 (roughly Rs. 7,351). The smartphone is likely to available in stores later this month, said Ken Wong, President at Lenovo APAC.

The Moto E3 sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display powered by a MediaTek’s 1.0GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage on board. The device features Gorilla Glass 3 protection for its display and also bears an oleophobic coating for smudge resistance. The device runs on an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and comes with a 2800mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the Moto E3 offers an 8MP primary rear camera along with a 5MP front selfie camera. The rear camera comes with features like geo-tagging, HDR, and panorama shot.

Moto E3 has a splash-proof, plastic design body that comes with 8.6mm thick chassis and weighs 140gm. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and microUSB. The smartphone will be offered in Black and White color options.

Another variant of Moto E3 series, Moto E3 Power is recently launched in Hong Kong with the USP of its massive 3500mAh battery. This smartphone was also believed to launch in India soon.

The Moto E3 Power offers a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display along with MediaTek MTK6735 1.0GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and internal storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD cards.

in addition, the device runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device has an 8MP primary rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus features. A 5MP selfie camera is also present on the front panel. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, microUSB port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM Radio.

The Moto E series is always loved by Indian consumers because of its value-for-money factor. The upcoming Moto E3 and Moto E3 Power might face intense competition with Xiaomi mobile phones. Thus, the Indian smartphone industry might witness the domination of Chinese smartphone vendors in the budget segment. Furthermore, the Chinese brands may even battle with tech giants like Samsung, Huawei (Chinese) and Apple.
