Micromax has launched a new tablet in its Canvas series, dubbed as the Canvas Tab P681. The latest tablet from Micromax mobiles is now exclusively available at an e-commerce website Flipkart for a price of Rs 7,499. The Canvas Tab P681 is available in Blue color option.

Talking about the specifications, the Micromax Canvas Tab P681 features an 8-inch (800×1280 pixels) display. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor paired with Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, and 32GB expandable memory via microSD card. The latest tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports voice calling.

Micromax is providing a 1-year manufacturer warranty and ten days of replacement policy along with the Canvas Tab P681 tablet.

For the imaging purpose, the latest tablet features a 5MP primary rear camera with LED flash. Also, a secondary 2MP front-facing camera is present on the front panel. The rear camera of the tablet can record videos in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. The device gets its power from a 4000mAh Lithium-Ion non-removable battery. The tablet is claimed to deliver a standby time up to 258 hours by the company.

The connectivity options on Micromax Canvas Tab P681 includes a 3G network with 42 Mbps at HSDPA and 11 Mbps speed at HSUPA, microUSB, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, Wf-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPRS/EDGE, and USB OTG support. The sensors on board include G-sensor, light and proximity sensor.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P681 will compete with Asus ZenPad C 7.0 tablet. The ZenPad C 7.0 features a 7-inch IPS display and is priced at Rs 7,999. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with MediaTek MT 8382 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard memory. The tablet offers a 5MP rear and a secondary VGA camera. Micromax’s latest tablet Canvas Tab P681 is comparatively cheaper than Asus ZenPad C 7.0.
