LG V20 is to feature ‘World’s First smartphone with Quad DAC’ for Hi-Fi sound

LG has announced yet another feature of its upcoming flagship V20 smartphone recently. According to this, the LG V20 smartphone will be featured with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC which boosts the audio playback quality. LG is to host an event on September 6 in San Francisco to reveal LG V20 officially.

LG has teamed up with ESS, a premium audio firm to offer a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad Digital-To-Analog-Converter technology in V20 smartphone.

According to LG, the music from V20 will sound crystal clear thanks to the Quad DAC and a compatible wired headset which will make you feel like hearing a live performance by an artist.

The forthcoming V20 is expected to sport a 5.5-inh Full HD (1080×1920 pixel) display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage at V20 will be 32GB/64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD cards. The device will likely to feature a 20MP primary rear camera with an 8MP front camera for selfie shooters. A USB Type-C port and battery of 4,000mAh are also anticipated.

The company also assures that the Quad DAC introduced in LG V20 is superior to the conventional DACs. When heard using headsets, users will experience the ambient noise reduction by up to 50%. And the Quad DAC, can let you to record a conversation between two people even in a noisy party without any difficulty.
