LG Electronics has recently unveiled an all-new range of laptops under its Gram-series. The company has announced that the new LG Gram laptops will be officially released at the CES 2018 event in January. The key highlight of the new LG Gram laptops is its 72Wh battery which is touted to last for a full day on a single charge by LG.
The new laptops are based on Windows 10 operating system. It comes in 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch display size variants. These laptops are powered by the latest 8-th Gen Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors. There is an SSD storage provided on these laptops and the users can also add an optional SSD card in secondary storage slot for further storage extension.
The information about the specifications and the pricing of the upcoming LG Gram laptops is scarce at the moment. Certainly, LG will reveal the details at an event at the upcoming CES 2018 event. The company claims that the laptops can be boosted up to 40 percent in terms of work efficiency. By doing this, the notebooks can manage to boot under 10 seconds.
Furthermore, the laptops have cleared the MIL-STD 810G durability tests. The sturdy form-factor is achieved thanks to the Nano Carbon Magnesium alloy body of the notebooks. The LG Gram laptops will include a backlit keyboard, touchscreen, fingerprint sensor, and a precision touchpad. Besides, the laptops support Thunderbolt 3 and comply the DTS Headphone X technology. Like mentioned above, the latest LG laptops are offered in three screen sizes- a 13.3-inch 13Z980 model (weighs 965 grams), 14-inch 14Z980 model (995 grams), and a 15.6-inch 15Z950 model (1,095 grams). The company also suggested that the 13-inch model can last up to 22.5 hours on the battery; 14-inch model up to 21.5 hours; and the 15.6-inch model up to 19 hours on a single charge.
