Lenovo Z2 Plus Launched in India at Rs. 17,999

Lenovo has launched the Z2 Plus, a mid-range smartphone in India at a starting price of Rs 17,999. The latest mobiles have ditched the ZUK brand name under its China version in favor of its Lenovo branding. The Lenovo Z2 Plus will be available from September 25 exclusively on Amazon India.

Coming to the specifications, the Lenovo Z2 Plus sports a 5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The display comes with 441ppi pixel density, 178-degree viewing angle, and 2.5D curved glass design.  Under the hood, the Z2 Plus is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor.

The device is offered in two storage options, viz. 3GB of RAM+32GB of storage for a price of Rs 17,999 and a 4GB of RAM+64GB of storage variants for Rs 19,999. Unfortunately, the storage is non-expandable.

While Lenovo Z2 is the cheapest smartphone in the market that run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820processor, the Z2 Plus is designed for techno-savvy who desires to be ahead of the curve with their smartphone device.

The Z2 Plus has taken away the Cyanogen OS from it which was featured in its predecessor, the Lenovo Zuk Z1. As a result of which, the latest mobiles in Z2 Plus series run on Android 6.0 OS.

On the camera front, the Z2 Plus offers a 13MP primary rear camera with popular camera features such as PDAF, LED flash, electronic image stabilization, f/2.2 aperture, 4K video recording at 30fps, time-lapse, and slow motion video with 720p HD resolution at 120p. The secondary camera of the smartphone has an 8MP sensor on front panel with 80-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture support.

The Z2 Plus smartphone is powered by a 3500mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge 3.0 technology and an intelligent charge cut-off (ICC) feature that ensures your smartphone’s battery never gets overcharged.

On connectivity end, the latest 4G VoLTE mobile Lenovo Z2 Plus include Dual-SIM slots, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope and fingerprint scanner at its Home button.
