Lenovo is about to refresh its budget tablets lineup in its Tab3 series. While there are Lenovo Tab3 7, Tab3 8 and Tab3 10 Business in the market, a new Tab3 8 Plus tablet is about to join the series. Meanwhile, a report has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming tablet along with the press images before the official announcement. The upcoming tablets are expected to come in three storage options- 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

According to reports, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is expected to have an 8-inch display with 1200×1920 pixels resolution. The device will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor paired with a 3GB of RAM. The option to expand the storage is available via microSD card. The upcoming tablet will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and will be backed by a 4250mAh non-removable battery.

The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is rumored to feature an 8MP primary rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. It is a dual-SIM tablet which supports 4G/LTE networks. It has two nano SIM cards with GSM and LTE network support.  Besides, this tablet has GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and two large speakers.

The device is expected to be comparatively lightweight at 330 grams and has a 7.97mm of thickness. The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is also supposed to support a stylus, however, it will not be provided within the package.

Previous to this, another upcoming tablet was leaked online named as Lenovo Tab3 7 Plus. The ta3 7 Plus is expected to sport a 7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The device will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The Tab3 7 Plus will have a 5MP autofocus primary rear camera alongside a 2MP front-facing camera. The device is rumored to come with a 3500mAh battery. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Based on the specifications, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus tablet will compete with Asus ZenPad 3 8.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 to name a few.
