Intex Cloud Scan FP Launched in India at Rs 3,999

After the launch of Cloud S9, the Indian smartphone maker, Intex mobiles has launched yet another smartphone in India known as Intex Cloud Scan FP. The 3G budget mobile is priced at Rs 3,999. The key highlight of the smartphone is its fingerprint scanner at such price point. The Intex Cloud Scan FP is available for purchase exclusively via Snapdeal in India.

The Intex Cloud Scan FP features a 5-inch IPS (480×845 pixels) displays with a pixel density of 196ppi. The device receives power from a Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with a 1GB RAM and Mali400MP GPU. On the storage front, the budget mobile offers an 8GB onboard space which could be extended up to 32GB via microSD card.

The latest budget mobile from Intex is offered in Champagne and Blue color options. The device offers power and volume rockers on the right side along with metallic edges.

For photography, the Intex Cloud Scan FP offers a 5MP primary rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, and f/2.8 aperture. There is also a 5MP front-facing camera present on the device for selfies and video calls. The front camera is a fixed focus camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Cloud Scan FP runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and gets the juice from a 2450mAh Li-Poly battery which is claimed to deliver a talk time of 5 hours and standby time of 110 hours. On the connectivity front, the budget mobile offers dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth, USB port, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, and GPS. The Smartphone measures dimensions at 146.4x73x9.65mm and weighs 153 grams.

Looking at the price of Intex Cloud Scan FP, it will compete with likes of Samsung Z2, Lyf Flame 7, and Micromax Bolt Selfie to name a few.

The Samsung Z2 comes with a smaller 4-inch WVGA display powered by a SpreadTrum SC9830 quad-core processor coupled with a 1GB RAM. The smartphone offers an 8GB of built-in storage, while it can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The best part of the Samsung Z2 smartphone is its 4G connectivity at a price point of Rs 4,590.

On the other hand, the Lyf Flame 7 comes at a price tag of Rs 3,499 and offers 4G connectivity with VoLTE support. It sports a 4-inch WVGA display powered by a quad-core processor at a speed of 1.5GHz and 1GB of RAM. The device offers 8GB internal storage and 5MP rear camera alongside a 2MP front-facing camera.
