HTC Vive Business Edition VR Headset Now Available in India

HTC has recently unveiled its Vive Business Edition (BE) virtual reality headset in the Indian market. The new VR headset from Taiwanese tech giant will cater the enterprise audience. It will provide virtual reality solutions in the commercial market. The new VR headset is priced at Rs 1,26,990 in India.

HTC Vive Business Edition VR Headset: Specifications

The new HTC VR headset features a 3.6-inch dual-AMOLED display. The combined resolution of both the displays is 2160×1200 pixels. The maximum refresh rate you can expect on the headset is 90Hz. The device supports 110-degree Field of View (FoV) and lens distance adjustment feature.

The sensors on the headset include G-sensor, gyroscope, SteamVR tracking, and proximity sensor. For connectivity, there is a USB 2.0, HDMI, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB (Vive Controller).

As an enterprise offering, the HTC Vive Business Edition packs the Vive BE headset, 4 Vive BE face cushions, two Vive BE controllers, a Vive BE 3-in-1 cable, and two Vive BE base stations. The new HTC VR headset in India comes with a 12-month limited warranty in India.

Faisal Siddiqui who is the President at HTC, South Asia, said in a press statement that the company is offering the Vive Business Edition VR to cater the growing business requirements. This will provide an exceptional experience and innovative solutions to growing businesses across areas like automotive, gaming, medical, engineering, and entertainment among others.

With the new VR system, the company is offering commercial licensing, a 12-month limited warranty, and choice to place an order in large quantities.

To recall, at CES 2018, HTC had launched a new Vive Pro headset along with the HTC Vive Adaptor. The company hasn’t shared the pricing and availability details of both devices as of now. The Vivo Pro comes with a dual-OLED display setup and a combined resolution of 28880×1600 pixels. To make the experience of this VR headset comfortable, the company has offered new straps and lower front weight.
