Apple and Citibank have entered into a partnership to offer a unique combo purchase offer for those who wish to purchase an iPhone and an iPad at the same time. If a customer buys an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, he can avail up to Rs 23,000 cashback on the purchase of an iPad and vice versa.
The Apple-Citibank combo offer is applicable only for those who purchase via select Apple-authorized resellers. The offer is available only to the Citibank credit card customers. The customers will have to buy the iPhone and the iPad on the same day from the same store to avail cashback using the same card. Customers will also have to provide the same mobile number at the time of both purchases if required.
The offer is already available at select Apple-authorized re-sellers and it will last until December 31, 2016. The customers can perform a maximum of four transactions from the same card during the offer period; however, only two transactions are allowed each month. The unique iPhone-iPad combo offer will only applicable for the purchase made via select offline Apple-authorized re-sellers and not from any online store.
The offer includes different cashback value on different models of iPad. The customers buying an Apple iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus alongside an iPad mini 2 or an iPad mini 4 can avail cashback of Rs 17,000; for iPad Air 2 model they can get Rs 18,000 cashback; and Rs 23,000 if they buy any iPad Pro model.
The offer also applicable in reverse- customers buying an iPad can avail the cashback offer up to the same amount if they purchase either of the latest iPhone models. The offer is not applicable to previous iPhone models.
The applicable cashback amounts of the iPhone-iPad combo range will be credited on the Citibank credit card. The cashback amount will be credited within 90 days of purchase. However, the Offer is not valid on Citibank Corporate Credit Cards. Also, the offer is not valid on EMI transactions.
