Asus has recently launched a new bezel-less display smartphone in the Russian market under the Zenfone Max-series. The new phone is known as the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) phone. The key highlight feature of the device is its display that sports an 18:9 aspect ratio.

To recall, the Taiwanese company has previously launched the Asus Pegasus 4S smartphone featuring the bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is the second phone to come with such display configuration. Surprisingly, the company hasn’t revealed the price and availability details of the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) smartphone.

Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1): Specifications

Coming to the specifications, the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. Moreover, there is a dedicated microSD card slot which is used to expand the storage up to 256GB.

The Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) has a dedicated fingerprint scanner at the rear panel and boasts a metal unibody design. It will be made available in Azure Silver, Deep sea Black, and Sunlight Gold colour options. In addition, there is a fingerprint scanner on the device is claimed to unlock the handset in 0.3 seconds.

On the camera front, there is a dual camera setup featuring 16MP + 8MP sensors. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter. The latest Asus mobile receives its juice from a 4130mAh battery with support for quick charging tech. The company claims to deliver the standby time of up to 26 days on 4G network, up to 26 hours of talk time on 3G networks, up to 21 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi, and up to 13 hours of continuous video playback.

Furthermore, the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) has the Face Unlock feature which is seen in recent flagship smartphones like Apple iPhone X, OnePlus 5T, and Oppo F5 to name a few. As of now, the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) has launched in the Russian market and its release in the international smartphone market is expected to occur soon.
