Two New Panasonic Smartphones with AI to Launch in India

After a really long gap from the smartphone market, Panasonic is making its comeback with two new smartphones. Recently, the company sent out invites for an event that will be held on October 4, in India. Panasonic smartphones are known for their entry-level or mid-range price budget. However, these new flagship smartphones are designed to give a tough competition to smartphones in the high-end segment.

According to the invites sent out by Panasonic, these two smartphones will be AI-enabled and will come with an iPhone X-like notch display. Furthermore, the invite also mentions that these upcoming Panasonic smartphones are the most powerful and innovative smartphones designed by the company.

Additionally, these flagship smartphones by Panasonic will go on sale next month. As of now, the company has not revealed the names of these upcoming Panasonic smartphones. Some of the interesting highlights these smartphones will feature are a stainless steel body and wireless charging.

Further speculations about these smartphones also reveal that they might come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood. The phones are most likely to sport 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage.

During a recent interview with Pankaj Rana, Panasonic India’s Mobility Division Head, he revealed that Panasonic aims to become one of the top 10 smartphone brands in India. Pankaj Rana said, “Distribution is our core strength and currently 80 per cent of the business comes from our distribution channel network and 20 per cent from the online channel. Going forward, we believe online will grow up to 30 per cent”.

Interestingly, Panasonic’s in-house AI-assistant Arbo has helped the company improve the user experience. With Arbo, Panasonic has expanded its portfolio with intelligent phones.

After a break of three months, Panasonic is back in the smartphone market with premium smartphones. Overall, not much is known about these Panasonic smartphones. More details regarding these devices will surface after the launch event on October 4.
